 Having been a life long Chiefs fan I have never been more excited to watch the Super Bowl! "When" the Chiefs win Sunday evening by the score of 41-27 I will be thrilled. Fort along with other metro schools have been having conversations about the potential Chiefs victory celebration. Remembering the Royals World Series win in 2015 and the number of substitutes requested, we anticipate a similar outcome this year. More information will be shared Monday upon the Chiefs win and how the District plans to proceed.
 Fort Osage School District is excited to celebrate Winter Spirit Week February 3-7, 2020. In order to promote school pride, all of our schools and the community are invited to participate in spirit days. Show us your school pride by posting photos with #FortProud and/or email them to ssmith@fortosage.net. We will be posting a photo album each day that week on our Facebook page! The days are listed below.
Monday- Dress in a colorful outfit Tuesday- No School Wednesday- Come dressed as your favorite meme. Thursday- Come dressed in support of your favorite sports team. Friday- Come dressed in your Fort Osage red and white or your school spirit wear. Natalie Magee is a dancer turned health nut who is passionate about sharing her knowledge of personal wellbeing. As a Health and Wellness Coordinator, Natalie has the opportunity to educate and inspire people on health issues of all kinds, from mental to physical. Natalie lives in Olathe with her husband Derrick and children Lillyana (5) and Steven (2). Natalie is excited to be here, and looks forward to assisting the employees of Fort Osage with any personal wellbeing goals they may have. Save the date for this years FREE Fort Osage onsite Biometric Screening. A biometric screening is our annual health examination that can help to determine the risk for heart disease, stroke, diabetes and more. Light refreshments will be provided as well as prize drawings for participants. There will be more information to come.
