Dr. Jason Snodgrass became Superintendent for the Fort Osage School District in July 2015. Prior to serving as Superintendent,
Dr. Snodgrass served as the Fort Osage High School principal. Prior to his work at Fort Osage High School, Dr. Snodgrass served as the Principal at Polo R-VII High School from 2003 to 2009. Snodgrass has also served in the Marceline R-V and the Brookfield R-III Districts. Dr. Snodgrass has been recognized with a number of distinctions and accomplishments. He was recognized as the Missouri High School Principal of the Year in 2014. He was also named the Missouri Association of Student Councils Administrator of the Year for the Kansas City Area, and the Greater Kansas City Principal of the Year in 2013. Dr. Snodgrass was also selected as the administrator of the year for the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association in 2014. Dr. Snodgrass earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, MO. He holds a Master of Science in Education and an Education Specialist degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Snodgrass obtained a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University in May 2010. Dr. Snodgrass and his wife Jodie live in Independence, MO with their five children. Outside of school, Dr. Snodgrass serves as a youth league basketball coach. |
